The Summer School will be held in the U-Community Hotel, Higashi-Osaka, Japan, from August 1 to August 5, 2010.


This summer school is an attempt to bring students and researchers to recent interdisciplinary developements in Quantum Computation and Information. A great deal of research work has shown that the field of Quantum Computation and Information is deeply intertwined with other disciplines, not only in Physics but also in Chemistry, Biology, etc. Besides, the study of Quantum Computation and Information in relativistic regimes has attracted more and more attention of theoreticians and experimentalists. The goal of the Summer School is to stimulate collaborations and new ideas in this fascinating, growing frontier, by sharing our knowlege and insights.


The Summer School has two types of lectures. The first are invited, pedagogical lectures taught by invited lecturers on new developments in Qauntum Computation and Information. The second consists of short, contributed talks presented by postdocs and students on their recent work.

Contributed short talks and posters, which present theories, experiments, and computer simulations are welcome. Priorities would be given to those who need to give talks to obtain financial assistance to their travel from their own home universities or institutes. Note that, due to the limited number of slots avaiable for contributed talks, your abstract might not be accepted after our comprehensive review. An Email notice will be sent to you upon the acceptance of your abstract. Nevertheless, there will be no limit to the number of posters.
