Openings of postdoctoral and senior scientists positions [Deadline: 24:00 JST, 31 January 2011]

We are pleased to announce one or two openings of postdoctoral and senior scientist positions in quanutm computing and quantum information.

Successful candidates will work for the open research center project ``Interdisciplinary fundamental research toward physical realization of a quantum computer'' supported by MEXT.

The appointment is until the end of March 2012 and not renewable. The research fields are theoretical and/or experimental studies related to the project themes. Physicists, mathematicians, information scientists and chemists interested in quantum computing and quantum information are encouraged to apply. Qualification required is Ph D. Candidates who will definitely obtain Ph D before they take up the position are also considered. Successful candidates should take up the position on 1 April. Other dates may be acceptable upon negotiation. Salary for a postdoc is 300,000 yen/month. Salary for a senior scientist depends on the working days/week.
