• Registration (Deadline: 17 July, Fri, 2009)
• Abstract Submission for contribution (Deadline: extended to 15 July, Wed, 2009)

Matrix Product States (MPS) and Density Matrix Renormalization Group (DMRG) methods have been extensively developed in the past decades. Its applicability encompasses condensed matter physics, classical mechanics, and quantum computation among many. Developments for further accuracy and/or further reduction in the computational cost are under rapid developments. This workshop is organized to gather researchers developing, using or having interests in MPS and DMRG to tackle up-to-date subjects in these topics. It is co-organized with Summer School on Decoherence, Entanglement and Entropy (8-11 August, same venue). Contributions of talks and posters, presenting theories and computer simulations are welcome.
Topics to be covered include, but not limited to,
  • Formulation of MPS
  • Methods in DMRG
  • Simulation Physics
  • Entanglement and MPS
  • NRG Methods other than MPS/DMRG
