Welcome to the webpage of the Summer School on Mathematical Aspects of Quantum Computing

The goal of this summer school is to introduce the general audience of mostly mathematicians with little or no background in quantum computing to the very fast growing field of quantum computing.

The school will consist of three consecutive days of talks that cover the basics of quantum computing. The school will feature the following topics:

  • Quantum Error Correction Code

  • Entanglement

  • Quantum Games

Information about Lecture Notes:

    For the convenience of participants, we would like to distribute the lecture notes among the participants by the time of the summer school. Then it is highly appreciated if the Invited Speakers provide us with lecture notes that may be up to 20 pages. Please refer to the lecture note submission page for preproceedings (closed) for explanations and submissions.

    This summer school will also publish proceedings including contributions from the Invited Speakers, as well as participants. Contributions can be submitted soon after the summer school. The proceedings is going to be published from World Scientific Publishing. Please kindly prepare contributions using the LaTeX style file available from the web page of the publisher. Choose the proceedings style files from category "General," trim size 9.00" x 6.00". Please submit the electronic manuscript (Latex file and figure files) from the proceedings submission page.

Information about Posters:

    The size of a poster should not exceed the A0 size. Posters are presented at a different room during the summer school. Pins for posters will be available in the room. Presenters are politely asked to stay by their posters during the Poster sessions.

This summer school is the first and part of the series of schools, workshops and conferences, being hosted by Prof. Nakahara Group on Quantum Computing at Kinki University in the joint project with MEXT from Japan.
